  1. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  3. This Agreement is made and entered into by and between you and Sony
  4. Communication Network Corporation (hereinafter called "Sony") with
  5. respect to and in connection with the license granted to use the trial
  6. version of Sony's electronic mailing application software called as
  7. "PostPet" (hereinafter referred to as the "Software").
  8.  
  9. You are considered to have agreed on the following terms and conditions of this
  10. Agreement upon your first use of the Software.
  11.  
  12. Article 1. Copyright
  13.  
  14. It is understood and agreed that the copyright and any other
  15. intellectual property rights arising out of the Software and any related materials
  16. including, but not limited to, a user manual provided with the
  17. Software,are and shall remain the property of Sony.
  18.  
  19. Article 2. Purpose, Support & Warranty
  20.  
  21. 1. The Software is provided, free of charge, for you to examine and try
  22. out the Software.
  23.  
  24. 2. Sony shall  assume no  obligation for any support with regard to the
  25.  Software including without limited to any inquiry thereto.
  26.  
  27. 3. Sony shall make no guarantee of compatibility between the Software
  28. and any other software product, including any future versions of the
  29. same.
  30.  
  31. Article 3. License Grant
  32.  
  33. Sony hereby grants you a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to
  34. use the Software as long as you use the same only for such purpose as
  35. set forth in Article 2 hereof.

  37. Article 4. Restrictions
  38.  
  39. 1. You shall not reproduce, distribute, lend or transfer the Software to
  40. any third party.
  41.  
  42. 2. You shall not change, correct, alter, modify, update, enhance,
  43. disassemble, decompile or otherwise reverse engineer the Software.
  44.  
  45. Article 5. Disclaimer
  46.  
  47. The Software is provided "AS IS" and Sony disclaims any warranty with respect
  48. to the Software and  makes no guarantee that the Software is uninterrupted
  49. and error-free.
  50. In no event, shall Sony be liable for any damages of any kind arising
  51. out of or in connection with the use or non-use of the Software including,
  52. but not limited to, loss of or damage to data .

  54. Article 6. Term of Use
  55.  
  56. The license granted hereunder shall expire and be limited thirty (30) days 
  57. from the date of its first use. Thereafter, the functionality of the Software
  58. shall be automatically limited.
